Fundraising

Warren-Prescott Parents Association (WPPA) is an all-volunteer organization, and 100% of the funds raised are used to support the school. Together, we can advance the Warren-Prescott mission “to provide a high quality, well-rounded educational experience that prepares its students for success in school and beyond.”

The Warren-Prescott Parents Association has three primary fundraisers:

Fun Run

The Fun Run is the primary fundraiser for our student experience enrichment, supporting all Warren-Prescott Parents Association events and initiatives throughout the year. The Fun Run will kick off this year on October 2, 2024. The Warren Prescott students will complete the Fun Run on October 11, 2024.

WPPA funded initiatives:

  • K1/K2 Summer Meet Ups
  • Monthly Stock the Teacher's Break Room
  • Monthly Coffee in the Garden
  • Halloween Trunk-or-Treat
  • Spirit Week
  • Book Fair
  • Camp Fair

  • Supplemental Educational Programming, like Author Visits

Giving Tree

Giving Tree is the fundraiser for our Warren-Prescott teachers, providing our 55 teachers (30 classrooms, 25 specialties) with classroom materials that BPS doesn’t fund. Teachers can purchase precisely what they need for their classrooms, like new books and bookshelves to create a student library or TVs and whiteboards for the classrooms, significantly improving our students' learning experience. Thanks to your generosity, in August 2024, the Giving Tree provided each teacher $400.

“Giving tree money is always a huge help with all the classroom basics that BPS doesn’t supply! Because of all the generous donations, I can have beautiful name tags, laminating sheets, journals, and many classroom essentials!! Thank you!” -- Ms. Travers, K1 Teacher

The Giving Tree runs Nov. 1 - 30, 2024. All funds raised will be donated to teachers Aug 2025.

Spring Fling

The Spring Fling is the Warren-Prescott Foundation’s largest fundraiser of the year, raising critical funds for the school. 100% of your contribution goes directly to the school for immediate use on big-impact initiatives. In the past, this event has enabled us to outfit the science program with microscopes and new supplies, launch a Spanish program in grades K1 and K2, provide a music program to students in our Autism track, and introduce Playworks that helps students stay active and build valuable life skills through play at recess. This year's Spring Fling will be hosted in May 2025, Date TBD.
